David Akers

As a lifelong resident of the Fraser Valley, I feel fortunate to live and work in such a vibrant and beautiful community. My roots in Abbotsford run deep, and I am proud to call this incredible region home.  

Beyond my career in real estate, I am a dedicated family man, blessed with a loving wife and daughter. Together, we cherish the time we spend exploring the great outdoors, whether camping, hiking or simply enjoying the stunning landscapes that make our area so special. Among my favourite pastimes, camping with my family holds a special place in my heart. It allows us to unplug from daily distractions, focus on each other, and create lifelong memories.

My passion for real estate stems from early experiences working alongside my father in home construction. Those formative years taught me firsthand how homes are more than just structures—they’re the foundation for dreams. Watching families step into the homes they worked so hard for was genuinely inspiring and shaped my commitment to helping others achieve their goals.

Though an injury redirected my career path, it never diminished my drive to contribute meaningfully to people’s lives. Real estate has allowed me to do just that—helping families find not just a house but a home. I am deeply passionate about what I do and take pride in consistently striving to exceed expectations.
